With bodies being blown apart by “legitimate” governments and “illegitimate” terrorists, with our lives becoming ever more consumer orientated, transaction based and sterile, I wanted to retreat to the Human as Nature.
Sex as something life affirming and ever-present.
We marvel at wildlife documentaries, but forget we too are animals.
We all do it. We exist because of it.
Sex as universal and neutral, beyond borders, beyond language, beyond
religion.
Old and young together?
Because becoming older is all of our futures, and youth all of our
pasts.
When filmed so close, the only difference is the skin texture.
The images are unnerving in their simplicity.
They are powerful, but not “shock art”.
Nakedness contrasts with what we “dress” ourselves with.
Beliefs. Ideas. Opinions.
Nakedness exposes our conditioning.
